Kevin started Such Forestry & Fencing in 1983 when he was 23 and hasn’t looked back. Kevin and his wife Sara had their son Rob in 1989.

When Rob turned 18, he trained as a website developer and continued working in the tech industry for 7 years. But in 2012 Rob put down the laptop to join Kevin in the family business, rekindling a taste for the good life in the great outdoors, hand callouses and all.

Between us, we have extensive experience in both Fencing and Forestry, having acquired a combined 45 years worth of specialist knowledge & skills. Our passion for Forestry is in our blood.

Over the years, we have been lucky enough to work on beautiful National Trust Properties and the Ashdown Forest were we both live.

We take pride in our long standing relationships with both private individuals and commercial customers.

We use sustainably sourced local materials and prioritise the integrity of the environments we work in. We have experience working on sites of special scientific interest and approach each job with respect and care.

We combine traditional methods with modern techniques and tools to ensure our workmanship is high quality and our fences built to last.

Forestry has been at the heart of our business from the start and we still work in many of the same woodlands where Kevin started his career. We understand that projects we undertake now will shape the forests for years to come.
