Such Forestry & Fencing

On this project we were recruited to harvest larch from a large commercial site. We extracted 50 tonnes of larch using our mini excavator and Patruuna 860 forwarding trailer. We then replanted the woodland with mixed broad leaf trees. Once finished we deer fenced the perimeter to prevent grazing and protect the newly planted trees. We also created a ‘dead hedge’ using the tops of the original larch trees to create a barrier alongside a nearby footpath.
